During the Covid 19 Pandemic lock down, the staff members completed a 300km virtual charity challenge. Individuals either walked, jogged or cycled over the course of 1 hour to complete the challenge, virtually from all corners of the country and some socially distancing from Interchems office in Dublin. Even though the team were apart, the team spirit was very strong. The Interchem team and Research Motor Neurone Charity received a tremendous amount of support from customers, suppliers, family and friends, raising over €5,000. The team at Interchem chose this charity to support long standing customer and friend Dr. Noel Kavanagh MVB, DPM, MAE, DECHPM, FRCVS. Noel lives in County Meath with his wife Caroline, is now retired from his specialist pig veterinary practice. Noel was diagnosed with MND in December 2018. Noel is a founding member of the European College of Porcine Health management, a practicing member of the Academy of Experts and author of the textbook entitled “Maximizing Pig Herd Health, Management and Production Efficiency.
The staff at Interchem and PharVet trekked almost 10km through the Dublin Mountains at Tibradden Wood. The team at Interchem are grateful for the donations that came in from suppliers, staff, family and friends. Interchem is delighted to be associated with a charity like My Canine Companion who trains service dogs for children with autism.
